Garnet B.T.O. Special

A self-described “sound fountain” made by Gar Gilles, one time sound man for the Guess Who. Though sharing initials with Canadian hard rock journeymen Bachman Turner Overdrive, the proper name of the B.T.O. is “Big Time Operator.” Features active boost and eq circuits, and switchable onboard effects the “Light Show,” a magnificent tremolo that engages by fading-in, and the “Stinger,” a unique asymmetrical tube fuzz circuit with a freakish, harsh sound. We have two of these, featuring slightly different circuit revisions and slightly different behavior in their tremolo circuits.
