The story of Taylor Hales is the story of us. At 8 years of age, he: played AYSO for one season and sucked; got a Nintendo, which changed his life (an NES, young one); bought his first recordings, cassettes by Weird Al and Queen; saw Wayne's World at a friend's birthday party, which is still his favorite film.
Twenty years later, he returned to Chicago to intern at Electrical Audio and learn tape from the masters. Today, he engineers tape and digital sessions and does a substantial amount of the studio’s tape transfer work. He’s also the studio’s Office Wolf, and a proud parent and husband. He plays bass in Paper Mice and the Arts of Life Band. If you see him running or cycling on the North Branch Trail give him a shout!
